one sided conversation

i keep asking, but You never answer.  You tell me to trust in You, to confide and worship You, but you never answer. You just leave me twisting in the wind.

they keep telling me it's all in Your time, that it's all part of Your plan, that i should just endure. i'm not Job.

You said, "ask and you shall receive." i'm asking. i've been asking. where are You?

answer me.

  3. I'm pretty positive he reads blogs ;) I know this is serious stuff, but when I read, "I'm not job" I'll admit it made me laugh. There's usually a catch to every promise. That sounds kinda bad, I know. It's usually in the context. Or at least the ones I've read. Also, I think sometimes there's not an answer, or maybe one we have no possible way of comprehending. I try to remember there's a lot of bad things in the world that have nothing to do with God. People suck. Not just mean people, all people. I know this doesn't help, but you are always in my prayers.

  4. You know the old saying God helps those who help themselves? Maybe He is waiting for you to help yourself.

  6. maybe He has answered you...-Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character, hope.- (Romans 5:3,4 NIV)P.S. maybe take the time to re-read Job? it's a beautiful book...

  7. Ghost, If you can't change it, can you change the way you react to it?

  8. You may not yet have recieved what you asked for, but I bet you recieved something. And He makes good come out of those somethings. But I agree waiting in the stillness is challenging, to say the least.
